Q1: What do we need to prepare before implementing FOODIVAL's recipe management module?

Before implementing FOODIVAL’s recipe management module, you need to prepare both the recipes for each dish on your restaurant menu and the semi-finished recipes, including the required ingredients and quantities for each dish, so that we can create a complete electronic recipe database for you.

Yes! FOODIVAL supports semi-finished good recipe management. You can create sub-recipes (i.e. recipes for semi-finished goods) through our system and add the sub-recipes (such as homemade sauces and broth) when creating a main recipe (i.e. dishes on the menu). The system will automatically calculate per-dish cost or deduct stock levels based on the ingredient usage in both main and sub-recipes.

FOODIVAL calculates the ideal cost of dishes based on the system’s recipe data, purchase prices and sales data extracted from the POS system. At the same time, it can also take your restaurant’s actual ingredient usage derived from regular stocktakes into account as the basis for calculating the actual cost of dishes.

FOODIVAL offers built-in intelligent analytics tools to help you conduct comprehensive analysis on various key operational data, including recipes, purchasing, stock and POS sales. This data is crucial for you to gain clear visibility into the profit and sales performance of each dish on your menu.
